Sally Hayter Physiotherapy
Sally qualified from Brunel University in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. She began her career working within the Portsmouth area and quickly specialised in musculo-skeletal conditions, working in and around the area ever since. She is a member of the following organisations:
- CSP
- HPC
- AACP
- Physio2u
This ensures that clients receive the highest quality treatment and care carried out by a therapist who follows a professional code of conduct and has full liability insurance.
Sally has worked in Bishops Waltham for the last eight years, previously at 'Reform' and has a large existing and regular client base with many returning customers.
Currently, she still works in the NHS part-time in the Fareham area as a senior physiotherapist. She is responsible for students and junior staff members and which ensures she is completely up to date with medical advances.
Sally gained her acupuncture qualification in 2001 and uses it as an adjunct to other physiotherapeutic techniques. She also has a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and would like to further her knowledge by completing this and using it towards a Masters qualification. Sally constantly strives to increase her knowledge base and skill levels to provide the best, most effective levels of treatment and all round care.
Sally has a particular interest in chronic pain conditions such as M.E. and Fibromyalgia, and has worked with many patients helping them to both recover from an acute episode and also to reach their maximal potential recovery. She has worked closely with an Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip pathology and in particular young adult hip pathology. She has gained valuable knowledge and experience in treating patients with these conditions and can refer on directly for specialist assessment and also take referrals for post-operative rehabilitation.
